IS THERE ANYWHERE I CAN TRY ON ONE OF YOUR GARMENTS?
Given we are an online store only and no longer wholesale our brand throughout Australia, it is only possible to try a garment on if we are running a pop-up store at the time. We no longer offer private fittings, but have size charts available under the customer service tab at the bottom of our website.
CAN I STOCK BONITA IN MY STORE?
At the beginning of COVID-19, we made the difficult decision to cease the wholesale operation of our business in Australia (meaning we will no longer have Stockists - for now). We are wonderfully lucky to have a loyal and growing customer base (i.e. you!) where we are now choosing to direct our full efforts. We are working hard to make our online store an impeccable buying experience and will continue to supplement this with regular pop-up stores all across the country (and afar!). We still wholesale internationally.

DO I HAVE TO WAIT 4-6 WEEKS FOR MY ORDER?
No - unless you have purchased a 'pre-order' item under the women's tab of our website. (These are generally pieces that aren't part of our current collections, but are still popular out of season - meaning, they're made to order). All other orders made on our website are dispatched within 1-2 business days from our warehouse in Brisbane, Australia.
HOW DO I PRE-ORDER?
To pre-order an item, you will need to add the available product to your shopping bag as if you were placing a normal website order. You will then need to follow the check-out process as normal and pay the full amount + shipping for the item. As soon as the item is available we will send it out to you. If your order contains a mix of pre-orders and in stock items, we will ship the pre-orders separately at no extra charge. Your order confirmation email will contain both in stock and pre-order items.
HOW LONG DO PRE-ORDERS TAKE TO ARRIVE?
Pre-orders can take anywhere between 4-6 weeks (give or take) - this includes production, handling & shipment. Each Bonita Kaftan is hand embellished by some of India’s best artisans, and it takes time to hand stitch each crystal and sequin! We inform all of our customers on the progress of their order, and if the garment will be arriving earlier or later than originally quoted. We will email you to inform you of the despatch date, and shipping tracking number once it arrives.
WHY DOES IT TAKE 4-6 WEEKS FOR A PRE-ORDER TO ARRIVE?
Pre-orders can take anywhere between 4-6 weeks due to the amount of detailing that goes into each garment. Our designs are printed on A-grade silk, and then colour-fasted using the appropriate solvents. After our fabrics are treated, the garment undergoes rigorous steaming and pressing. Once this is completed, our artisans begin hand embellishing individual sequins and crystals. Our kaftans are then hand cut and sewn together. Our kaftan's are a true work of art being printed onto fabric, and that is why it takes 4-6 weeks for any given pre-order.
I'VE EMAILED CUSTOMER SERVICE TO FIND OUT THE PROGRESS ON MY ORDER or PRE-ORDER, AND I HAVEN'T HAD A REPLY YET. WHY IS THAT?
All email replies from our customer service team can take up to 24-48 hours due to the volume of queries we receive, daily. It's not that we do not care about your enquiry, but we are working with a limited number of staff that are working hard to come back to you ASAP.
